BIOGRAPHY

Singing has been as natural to Laura Williams as breathing, eating, and sleeping. It was her lifeline during the hardships she faced growing up in her hometown of Quakertown, PA. From intense bullying as a child to an eating disorder in her teenage years, Laura found solace in writing songs on her ukulele at 14. Her dream was to perform on stage. Believing a music career was impossible, she planned to study marine biology in college. However, God had other plans for her—plans to do what she deemed impossible. In her senior year of high school, God presented her with an opportunity of a lifetime to pursue music as a career. In the fall of 2022, Laura committed to becoming a Christian artist, and God opened doors for her. In 2023, she was invited to appear on Season 24 of NBC’s The Voice, where she received a four-chair turn during her blind audition, launching her career.

In 2024, Laura released her debut single "Who Jesus Is", an anthem of her testimony that highlights, "let who I am only point to this: who Jesus Is". Feeling a calling towards the unconventional and uncomfortable, Laura teased her favorite original song "Hurts Right Now”, an honest conversation with God about pain and suffering -- which quickly gained traction and resonated with thousands. Laura released "Hurts Right Now" in January 2025.

Since then, Laura has been heard on various radio stations across the country and has performed at multiple festivals, conferences, and concerts. She has opened for notable artists such as Hannah Kerr, Jason Gray, and Allison Eide. With her wild curls and vibrant personality, Laura aims to continue releasing music and using her story to bring the real and raw heart of who Jesus truly is to her generation.
